  • We would like to congratulate Emily Hillhouse on making it to the Quarter Finals of the State Tennis tournament yesterday.  We are proud of her accomplishments and look forward to next year’s season!!
  • We have several juniors who will be off campus today.  That information is listed below.
  • There will be a meeting with all junior class members TODAY during study hall in Mrs. Dorman’s room. 
  • You must get your track uniforms turned in to Coach Champion before the week is up or you will not be able to take exams on Monday. Let’s please get this done.
  • Softball players:  If you are participating in the upcoming MAIS fast pitch season, YOU MUST ATTEND an informational meeting today during break.
  • Students who would like to take the June 8 ACT may still sign up through this Friday by paying a late fee.
  • The Baccalaureate ceremony will be Friday night at 7:00 at Word of Life Church.  Graduation will be Saturday at 2:00 at the same location.
  • Any student that did not get their physical last Saturday MUST obtain an updated physical in order to participate in summer/preseason activities.
  • Final exams will be next week.  All science and English exams will be on Monday, all math and history exams will be on Tuesday, and all High School Art and Spanish exams will be on Wednesday, along with 6th grade Art and 6th grade Latin exams.  Break will be offered each day.  Dismissal will be at 11:30 all three days.  Detailed information is on the bulletin board.  A reminder that you will not be able to take exams if you owe money or have not turned in your athletic uniforms.   All students are allowed to wear blue jeans and Hartfield t-shirts all next week.
  • Get 2 College will offer free summer ACT workshops starting June 24 from 8:00 a.m. – noon or 1:00 – 5:00 daily.  You can learn strategies to improve your score and it will cover all subject areas.  Counselors will be available all summer with on-on-one assistance to help you.  Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!  More information is available in the High School office.
  • Citizens Bank is offering juniors and senior students the opportunity to bring in your report card for a chance at a $1000 cash scholarship.  Each A will earn you one chance to win.  Winners are determined by a random drawing of names.  The last day to register your A’s with them is June 7.
